Electrical circuits of each system are shown from the power supply through. Wiring connections and their positions are shown and. Refer to the. The "System Outline" and "Service Hints" useful for troubleshooting are. Shows ground positions of all the parts described in this manual. Provides circuit diagrams showing the circuit connections. The actual wiring of each system circuit is shown from the point where the power source is received from the battery as far as each ground point. Wire colors are indicated by an alphabetical code. B : Indicates a Relay Block. No shading is used and only the Relay Block No. Page 6 Q : Explains the system outline. R : Indicates values or explain the function for reference during troubleshooting. S : Indicates the reference page showing the position on the vehicle of the parts in the system circuit. In the Power Source circuit diagram, the conditions when battery power is supplied to each system are explained. Since all System Circuit diagrams start from the power source, the power source system must be fully understood. Page 8 The ground points circuit diagram shows the connections from all major parts to the respective ground points. When troubleshooting a faulty ground point, checking the system circuits which use a common ground may help you identify the problem ground quickly. The relationship between ground points shown below can also be checked this way. Establish conditions in which the test light comes on.

Automatic transmission: This pin is connected to Ground by the Starter Relay coil via the automatic shifter position switch when the automatic transmission shifter is in the 'N' or 'P' positions. When the engine is not being cranked this pin is connected to Ground via the Starter Relay coil. Automatic transmission: This pin is connected to battery voltage when the ignition switch is in the CRANK position and the automatic transmission shifter is in the 'N' or 'P' positions. This plug is located inside the passenger foot well and mates with male connector Note: Blue text indicates pins related to automatic transmission functions only. The body loom side of this pin needs to be connected to an ignition switched power source that supplies battery voltage when the ignition is in the RUN and CRANK Positions. The body loom side of this pin needs to be connected to an ignition switched power source that supplies battery voltage when the ignition is in the CRANK Positions. Manual transmission: The engine loom side of this pin is connected directly in the engine wiring loom to the engine ECU STA pin, the engine ECU NSW pin and to pin 3 of the engine loom to body plug to trigger the starter relay. Refer to pin 3 of body loom plug for further information. The engine loom side of this pin connects power to the igniter and the fuel injector supply pins. This plug is located inside the engine bay near the battery and mates with male connector The body loom side of this pin needs to be connected constantly to the battery via a 7. If you plan on using your own or existing chassis relays for example: Fuel Pump Relay and a switch panel, you do not need a fuse block. No chassis fusebox required. You just have to hook up start signal, fuel pump wires and a few other wires for tach and speedo, alternator warning light etc. You may have to run aftermarket gauges. Not compatible with mechanical cable driven speedometers. The LSU 4. For ECUs that do not process a raw wideband signal, a controller must be used. Flex Fuel support is available if desired. ECU Patch Harness - This optional item eliminates the need to cut into your engine harness for accessories. Grounding Kit - Our Kit ties a number if engine components to the body of the car and ensures that you will not have issues resulting from poor grounds. The Grounding Kit utilizes Ultra High temp fiberglass sleeving to allow installation under or around exhaust components. Very flexible mounting options allow you to connect the block, head, battery tray, alternator case and chassis to completely eliminate all grounding issues. Most Nissan to Nissan swaps can simply adjust the tachometer to compensate. Plug-n-Play vs Universal - Plug-n-Play harnesses connect to your car's underhood fuse box for power and to connectors under the dash for gauges etc. Universal harnesses do not need an underhood fusebox to connect to and the wiring for gauges and warning lights is provided as a 'flying lead' which are bare wires labeled with their function. Cristian, sorry for the slow reply - I didn't see your comment here. More than one person has reported issues running a manual gearbox with an automatic transmission engine ECU. I did manage to remove the error codes related to the missing automatic gearbox solenoids, but this did not seem to have any effect. Hi Efrain, I don't have any specific information to provide I am sorry. I know of someone who is using a JZS engine ECU with a manual transmission and with a differential mounted trigger wheel to replace the removed automatic transmission speed sensor apparently without issue! They are also using one of the body ECUs, and as a result do not have the check engine code that it associated with that which I did have as I did not have any of the body ECUs. Cheers Wiilbo. The fuel injector should be wired with one side of the solenoid connected to battery voltage Ignition switched and one side of the fuel injector connected to this ECU pin. The Intake Air Control Valve allows pressurised air to exit the rear turbocharger allowing it to fully come online as part of the sequential turbo system. This sensor is used for low oil level indication for the dash with the data being sent via the Multiplex network to the dash. It is unknown if this switch plays any part in the engine control algorithms. This pin connects to an oil level switch that is installed at the sump on the front, lower, intake side of the engine to detect low engine oil level. One side of the oil level switch should be wired to this pin and one side of oil level switch should be wired to ground common ground located at the intake manifold. This pin is used to control the electronic throttle control motor. The throttle is controlled by an electric motor that is controlled by the engine ECU.
